Today, on Saturday, our dear Ajalvireño Topo, from his cave in the wilderness, had the detail to send this wonderful historic photo. According to tells us, the occasion of this family photo, was due to visit the Area Superintendent - an envoy PLENIPOTENTIARIES Governing Body - the branch in Madrid in March 1985. The envoy was Richard Kelsey, also coordinator of the branch in Germany.
This is the story of a broken dream, a hope frustrated, a clear deception. Blood, sweat and tears: that was our motto to build the beautiful House of God (Hebrew word meaning Bethel) in Spain. Our only cathedral. Proud of the English race. Fate of our money, jewelry and heirlooms. The theme: all for God, what we had written in our hearts. But we were wrong and we timaron, fair and accurate slogan should have been: ALL FOR THE WATCHTOWER.
All, we all leave everything for this cause ... for free - or face, as they say now -. If you look, if you look face to face, you can see the faces of happiness, innocence, the face integral Linnet typical Iberian overseas. We have been led into the garden. We were promised eternal life in endless youth in the New Order Watchtowerlandia: all under our vines and our fig ..., and far we have fallen from her!

MEDITATION WITNESS
That raised Bethel
with wit and candor
of those who have spilled
blood, tears, sweat
the vast building,
that Bethel who had
the blessing of heaven,
who left Spain
port and greatest bastion
belief of those who did for
their way and banner
with nonsense and without science,
that Bethel is now closed
without giving an explanation
and bury their past
without an argument
well worth the believer
to spend time, money,
all diligent effort
and great faith and courage
entire home so prominent,
so proud that Bethel,
was it really
God's work ... or human?
